Car Parking
Parking for the regatta will be on Manhattan Boulevard as well as on OYC common grounds.
Power Boat Launching and Parking
Power boat launching will be available at the OYC throughout the regatta. Alternate launch sites include the public launch at Emerson Bay. Power boat parking at the Yacht Club will not be allowed due to space needed for race committee boats. You may consider mooring your powerboat during the day and take advantage of the taxi service to and from the yacht club pier. Coach and spectator boats may be launched and pulled out at OYC. They may be parked overnight in the OYC fenced yard (same location as power washing).
Slow NO WAKE Zone
All spectators and coaches should observe a slow no wake zone around the perimeter of race courses and especially at the finish line. All finishing sailors should sail away from the finish line before spectators and coaches can approach them.
Friendly Piers
Various piers around the lake have been designated as friendly piers in the event of inclement weather or to rest between races. Please feel free to dock at any pier that is flying a brightly colored flag. If the flag has a smiley face on it, sailors may use the bathroom at these homes.
Taxis
Taxis will be provided throughout registration on Thursday, as well as before and after each race Friday and Saturday (indicated by red flags). They will also be responsible for taking out the mooring buoys.
Please Keep Hydrated
With our hot weather it is important to keep well hydrated. The OYC has a watering station that has filtered water for all sailors and families to use.
Medical Help
A first aid station and medical volunteers will be stationed at the Yacht Club during the Regatta. If there is a true medical emergency you should either call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room. A Health and Safety Plan is also available at the OYC.
